Outlook lets you flag a sent message for follow-up and set a reminder date — and Copilot can summarize a thread once you're looking at it. Both require you to notice, in the moment, that a message might need a follow-up later. Most of the ones that fall through are the ones you didn't flag, because at the time they didn't look urgent.
